Russell represented a family trust, of which I was trustee, in litigation with a beneficiary. This nightmare of a beneficiary manufactured settler documents, lied repeatedly, represented himself in pro per, etc. Throughout 5 years of probate issues ranging from competing trust documents, trustee accountings, mediation, and conservator hearings, over several jurisdictions, and before multitude of different judges, commissioners, and mediators, Russell was consistently professional, knowledgeable and confident. Russell prevailed in each petition or action, we were awarded sanctions, and eventually he secured a settlement agreement to prevent further litigation. His fees were reasonable and his priority was always in the best interest of the trust and the other cooperative beneficiaries. I would definitely recommend him and will refer him to my clients.
